These are just super fun instruments: plug it in, crank it up and you get that raw, electric mandolin sound you simply can't get anywhere else.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThis is a 1970s example, fully hollow with f-holes in a beautiful sunburst finish, with the classic bound top, pearloid block inlays and the batwing-shaped pickguard that gives the model its nickname.
