Santa Cruz VJ (Vintage Jumbo)
The Santa Cruz VJ is a vintage-inspired slope-shoulder dreadnought that channels the bold, warm voice of classic jumbo acoustics from the 1940s. Designed for players who crave power, depth, and tonal nuance, the VJ delivers rich bass, clear mids, and a sweet top end—perfect for singer-songwriters, strummers, and Americana stylists.
This guitar is all original and in great shape, with only minimal signs of wear. It has a small scratch in the lacquer but is otherwise in very good condition. The only upgrade is a set of Waverly tuners (the original tuners are included in the case). It also comes equipped with a K&K acoustic guitar pickup and is housed in its original Santa Cruz case.
The VJ has an authoritative voice—big but never boomy—with vintage dynamics and exceptional clarity. Built by Richard Hoover and his team with renowned attention to detail, it's a stage- and studio-ready workhorse with timeless style and tone.
