1956 Gibson Les Paul Special
Very nice and all-original 1956 Gibson Les Paul Special in very good condition. We’re always happy to have these in stock — they are simply fantastic guitars.
This example shows some light play wear and checking throughout the finish, giving it a great vintage look. No breaks or repairs. It appears that different tuners were installed at some point in the past, but the holes have not been redrilled and the original tuners are now back on the guitar.
Les Paul Specials from this era are true tone machines, and this one is no exception. The two original P-90 pickups are nicely balanced and deliver the raw, powerful sound these guitars are known for. With a weight of 3,7 kg it feels solid and resonant.
Comes in original Lifton hard case with Maroon plush interior.
