1960 Gibson Les Paul Special DC Cherry re-neck
It's a great sounding and playing 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special. It underwent a neck replacement at the Gibson factory in the early 70ies. It has a +40mm nut width, the original serial number is stamped in the back of the head. Probably it was send back to the factory because of a heel break.
The body, pu's, wiring, and parts are original. It's a nice playing and sounding guitar which beats probably most of modern Gibson Custom shop guitars.
