1951 Gibson L50

Crafted in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Gibson L-50 was introduced in 1932 and quickly became a favorite among jazz and swing players. Often considered the acoustic counterpart to the ES-150, the L-50 shares its elegant proportions and silhouette, with a body width just a quarter inch shy of its electric sibling. But make no mistake—this is a fully acoustic guitar, through and through. With an arched spruce top and maple back, it delivers a warm, resonant tone with that classic Gibson "bark"—big, open, and full of character.

This 1951 example is in very good condition and original beside an added strap button and a changed set of tuners. It had a replaced nut and refret and plays just perfect! Looking to amplify its voice? We’re happy to offer discreet amplification options upon request.
