1956 Gibson J50
This guitar has been played—and it shows! Once you pick it up, you won’t want to put it down.
A well-loved 1956 Gibson J50 with plenty of wear and scars, but an absolutely incredible player with a fantastic sound. This round-shoulder dreadnought is essentially a J45 in a natural finish, giving it that classic Gibson tone and feel. It features a natural-finish spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a Brazilian rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, and the original Brazilian bridge with a fixed saddle.
Upgrades and modifications include a new nut, repro tuners, an added jack input hole and a strap button. The neck is a dream to play—chunky and comfortable, with low action that makes it a joy to fret. Plenty of wear, one top crack, but structurally solid.
If you're searching for a fantastic Golden Era Gibson acoustic that will make you happy every day—and at a reasonable price—this is your chance!
Ships in a well-worn vintage case.
