Very nice and all-original 1966 Mosrite Joe Maphis Model I in natural finish.
This model was built as a signature for legendary country guitarist Joe Maphis and features a slightly wider body than the more common Ventures model, along with a semi-hollow construction. The combination of a carved solid spruce top and solid walnut body gives these guitars a very unique tonal character — more open and resonant compared to the typical solid-body Mosrites, while still retaining that fast attack and clarity Mosrite is known for.
The slim, fast neck and low-output pickups deliver the classic Mosrite feel and sound, making it a very responsive and lively instrument.
The guitar remains in very good condition with only light play wear. No issues or repairs, all original.
Comes with a non-original vintage VOX case.
