The Music City Bridge Trapeze Wrap-Over Compensated Tailpiece is the definitive replacement bridge for 1952 and 1953 Gibson Les Paul guitars with the original trapeze tailpiece.
On the original trapeze bridge the strings wrap underneath the bar, making palm muting impossible and causing poor intonation and tuning instability. This wrap-over version solves all of that, while using the existing trapeze rods, no modifications to your vintage Gibson needed.
The design comes straight from Glaser Instruments in Nashville: it is the production version of the custom tailpiece Joe Glaser originally built for Keith Urban's 1952 Les Paul Goldtop.
