1952 Fender Telecaster - Blackguard
What a beauty! One of the most sought after guitars: an original 1952 Fender Telecaster blackguard. This guitar is in very good condition with the expected signs of aging and honest play wear, small dents and dings throughout the body and neck — everything you want from a real blackguard.
The serial number is 3498. The neck pencil date is 11-19-52, the neck pocket date is 11-11-52 and the volume pot dates to 1952 (the tone pot code is hidden under solder). Both original pickups sound just great ). All electronics and wiring are original.
It has a wonderful soft V maple neck with a professional refret using vintage-spec fret wire — cleanly done, so no overspray or refinishing of the neck was needed. The nut has been replaced, the original is included in the case. Besides that, all hardware is original. The guitar plays great with low action and has a very comfortable weight of 3,4 kg.
This is an unbelievably good guitar — once you start playing, it's very hard to put it down. Play with the volume and tone controls and you'll discover an incredibly wide spectrum of sounds.
Comes in its original hardshell case with the original hang tags.
