1960 Gibson Les Paul TV Model - Double Cut
This guitar screams rock 'n roll! An all original 1960 Gibson Les Paul TV Model double cut, in very good condition with just the right amount of wear and beautiful weather checking all over. The TV Yellow finish is exactly how you want it: not too light, not too dark — right in between, with a stunning aged look.
And this one comes with a story: it's from the famous Norman's Rare Guitars collection in California, and it's even featured in the Norman's Rare Guitars book. There is also a great video of Mark Agnesi playing this very guitar — watch it here and try not to fall in love.
The neck is the sweet spot of the era: slimmer than the beefy '59 profile, but not as thin as a '61 blade neck. A fast, super comfortable neck that makes this guitar an absolute joy to play. The original dogear P-90 is loud, raw and open — pick it up and you instantly hear Keith Richards and Johnny Thunders. This is what these guitars are all about.
Comes in its original case, also in good condition.
A killer player with killer provenance — these don't come around often.
