1963 Fender Stratocaster - Sunburst
If there is one word that comes to mind with this guitar, it's FLAME. The neck and headstock of this 1963 Fender Stratocaster show some of the most beautiful flame we have ever seen on a Strat — truly stunning. Add a beautiful sunburst body with honest wear and weather checking, and you have one very special pre-CBS Strat.
The guitar comes from Italy and has had only two owners. It is all original: the neck is dated April 1963, the body is dated May 1963 and the pots date to week 15 of 1963. The three original black bottom pickups sound just the way an early 60's Strat should.
The guitar plays very well and is a joy in the hands. The only thing that is not original is a refret. The refret was not done very carefully and left some marks on the fretboard. It's purely visual — you don't notice it when playing — and we don't want to make it a bigger point than it is, but you should know it's there. Here and there are also some small old body touch-ups done with a black marker.
Comes in it's original brown Fender case.
