1965 Fender Jazzmaster - Olympic White
A rare and beautiful 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Olympic White factory custom colour with matching headstock. This guitar is 100% original and in very good condition, right down to the original frets and nut.
It's an early '65 with the desirable features: L series neck plate, unbound neck and a beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The two original grey bottom pickups are dated July and August 1965, the pots date to late 1964 / early 1965. There is some light play wear on the neck and body and some fade to the clear coat — all typical and honest for its age.
Cool provenance too: this Jazzmaster comes from the collection of Brian Ray, longtime guitarist for Paul McCartney.
The guitar is set up with its original neck shims and plays great with a nice low action.
Comes with its original black tolex case, tremolo arm and white strap.
