1991 Gibson L4-CES
A beautiful 1991 Gibson L4-CES in sunburst.
A legendary guitar! In 1935, under the direction of famed Gibson designer Lloyd Loar, the L-4 began its evolution from an oval-sound-hole acoustic guitar to the electrified, F-hole-adorned classic hollow body jazz guitar we’re familiar with. The all-solid-wood L-4 CES sports a carved spruce top, and carved maple back and sides. The fast mahogany neck is capped with a buttery bound ebony fingerboard. Gold hardware – including the iconic L-4 “T” tailpiece – completes the setup. Glorious tone, effortless playability, and breathtaking visuals are yours, with the sumptuous Gibson Custom L-4 CES.
